Video: China's Three Gorges Dam Project

By: leelefever on August 29, 2006 - 6:25am

I've been playing with some other formats for our videos. This one is a documentary-style video, done as a narrative about the world's largest dam project, the Three Gorges Dam, and its effects on the locals. Part of our 6 day trip on the Yangtze took us to the dam through it's five locks. I hope you find the video interesting, even if I didn't eat anything strange.

Hi Lee and Sachi

Today is BlogDay 2006

As part of the celebration, each participating blogger must choose 5 blogs to write about and promote on their blog. I've chosen TwinF as one of my 5! You can read about it on our blog

I found this video really interesting - thanks, Lee. I have seen a lot of photos of the farmland and villages that were destroyed by this project, so it's interesting to see how it looks now and hear about people's reactions overall.

Thank you for your documentary!!! This will help with an enviromental science project that I am currently working on for a college course! This video is both interesting and also evokes emotion for the people along the river.
