Quickly, as there are a throng of Indian men look over my should at the moment, here are the major sights in the Golden Triangle, in panoramas.

First, the Taj Mahal...

Next is the Fatehpur Sikri

And the Amber Fort in Jaipur

And what the hell, another from the Taj...

Seeing the Taj Mahal was like meeting a movie star that you had only seen on the screen and was more impressive than you could imagine.

Great photos - can't wait to see them large. These definitely deserve large printings! Hope you both are feeling better (seems like it??) Have been enjoying traveling vicariously through this site :)

We are both doing much better, except I now have a stopped up sweat gland in my armpit, which is AWESOME. No more mud butt though, JJ.

Got here via Newley Purnell's site. (Now only if I could remember where I found HIM...) Love the panoramas! I'm so envious. My guy and I have been back for 6 months from our RTW trip, and we're longing to hit the road again.

Hi, Ellen from San Francisco, here. Just stumbled onto your website - my husband and I were in India at roughly the same time as you, and hit some of the same stuff. We just got home, April 1st. Steve's also in the graphics field - special effects, and so I suspect we may have something in common - long hours and deadlines. Am I right? Love your photos - and couldn't agree more about the touts being like email spam. :-) It's weird to have to block them out - sort of stressful, but figuring out what and who, and how much to tip was our number one stressor whilst in India. Enjoy the rest of your journey - looking forward to reading more posts! Glad I found your site. Best, Ellen

Wow, what a coincidence. Tipping was a big deal for us too. I dreaded entering bathrooms simply because of the implied arrangement of tipping in exchange for papertowels, a press of the soap despenser or turn of the faucet. It's great to hear from you!
