Well, it's really happening now (deep breath). We board in about 20 minutes. We're leaving on Jan. 6th and arriving on the 8th and it is about a 9 hour flight. I guess this year is only going to have 364 days, thanks to crossing the international date line. No more comforts of home for a long time.

That is our Air New Zealand plane behind us above. The next dispatch will be our first from another country. WOO HOO!
