Right now Sachi is working on the final projects of her graduation. She's been in grad school at night for about 5 years. Getting the grad school stuff done is a major hurdle for us and the trip and we're excited to get it behind us (her).

Man time is flying. In 7 months we'll be departing for the first international stop on the trip- the Cook Islands.

SO many things are on our mind right now. Because we still have a while to plan, we're trying to get some things done in advance. I just sent off to get my passport renewed for example.

Something heavy on my mind is the TwinF site. We have a goal to have the TwinF site ready for contributions by July 5th - one month from now and 6 months before departure.

We're going up to Vancouver this coming week to meet with the guys at Bryght about the site. For the first version of the site, the priorities are:

Well, this is a good example of living with the site. I'm about to start blogging here more and spent some time recently cutting back the features to the essentials.

Of course, a blog post is essential. Across the site, I've set up two controlled vocabularies that act as categories. The thing is, I don't want these categories for this blog. I only want them for the contributions, which aren't even set up yet. Something to figure out I suppose.

I may try to add another blog that acts as a country page, with contributions.
